i love dogs but unfortunately where i live in a condo they specifically do not allow dogs, even small ones. we can own a cat or a diferent small animal. this annoys me bc i could buy a 10 pound snake and let it loose here and that would be okay by the bylaw but not a 5 lb dog. one good thing though, i learned to get over my fear and loathing of cats cuz i really wanted a pet and i was gifted with a stray cat who was a beaut. a white long haired turkish angora with green eyes. and she was so affectionate and was actually a -GUARD CAT- , lol if there is such a thing. sadly she got sick, died and went to cat heaven. i say that tongue in cheek. i hope she is in main heaven so i can see her again some day. (i know some people do not believe animals go to heaven cuz they have no soul) i dont believe our God creates things frivolously so i believe we will see animals some day. i could be wrong but even if i am, heaven will be a wonderful place, amen?!
oh thats kewl. interesting u said u like german shepards as ur fav but u owned an aussie shepard. have u owned a german shepard b4? i have owned several and they are not only good guard dogs but if socialized properly from the beginning they are very affectionate too and good with kids. they can be pretty mean tho if they were only ever used and tied up from infancy to become vicious
