Thank you for posting this.  Even with a daily time set aside I find that I often "cut it short" because of other scheduled things.  I needed to hear this today...

Let me ask the obvious. If Jesus, the Son of God, the sinless Savior of humankind, thought it worthwhile to clear His calendar to pray, wouldn't we be wise to do the same?

I would have to say, without a doubt......YES ;o)

I have put way to many things before God. I know I need to take some time and just sit at his feet and listen.
My dirty dishes will still be there waiting. Better dirty dishes than a dirty heart.
Thank you

I am so grateful for this time I have not had to work, so that I could spend more time with the Lord.  I am on Social Security retirement, however, I will need to go back to work soon to supplement what I get.  The Lord has been faithful in stretching my savings, so I could have this time off.  I praise Him for giving me this time.

How I miss my special times with the Lord as they don't happen so much
now that Hubby has retired and is at home most of the day
Maybe God will quicken his heart so that we can have those special times together.

Yes indeed!! We must take time, to acknowledge our Risen Savior.
My day is not complete without the time I spend, praying and listening.
Without my Lord I am nothing!! Amen.
Thank You, Gods peace be yours!!
