13:33 And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim); and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them." Yesterday at service alot was said that I thought was interesting. The above scripture is what stood out to me. I decided to go home and begin to look at the story of The isrealites being sent to explore the land of Cannan. I thought to my self why is it that they were so doubtful of there own strenghths. Afterall were they not victorious thus far???? No they werent. On their own strengh they were not good enough. Human strengh at times is limited to the physical, but there is neccessay to also possess a strengh in Faith, the strengh of wisdom and the strengh of courage. These strenghths I am convinced do not naturally come from human origin. But are gifts from God. Do you know what I see here that does come from Humans???? Insecurities and a lack of Trust '....and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers and so we seemed to them." A few mens lack of faith that God would deliver, and courage that God's strengh would follow them not into any situation that they cant handle. And wisdom to "Lean not on their own understanding", but to trust Led to a great disunity amougst the Isrealites. Even worse it led to God's rath against those who did not Believe and grumbled against God's plans for their life.....If you get a chance please read this story again study it out. there is much to learn about Gods wisdom v.s our insecurities and our wisdom.......I have alot more thoughts on this topic and actually I will be parking here and sharing alot about this for a while. I hope Ya'll look forward to that. So this is a TBC...to be continued and as alway's dont just read, let me know what you guys think mainly about the scriptures and how it may apply to what your learning....
With love and support Berniece 13:30 But Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, "Let us go up at once, and occupy it; for we are well able to overcome it."
