Prayers For A Friend

I would like to ask for you to pray for a friend of mine who is suffering seriously with depression.  She does not want this to be public knowledge, and yet she needs prayers for strength to get through this.  I have always felt that prayers by the masses are effective, so I am appealing to you to pray for this friend of mine.  I worry about her well being, as she has talked of suicide.  She is seeking professional help, so that is a plus.  I am hoping that her doctor will be able to help her.  But I believe that the greatest Physician is God, and He is really the One that should be consulted in this case.  He can work through the doctors, but He must be in on the care plan!  I pray that you all join me in coming before the Great Physician and Healer on behalf of my dear friend.  Thank you all and God bless.

Lord I pray for Deb's friend. I speak against the spirits of depression and suicide and I stand in agreement with Deb to bind these spirits and send them back from whence they came. Lord this woman is being attacked on every side and needs your supernatural deliverance. I pray the angels would go before and make the crooked places straight, I pray that you would rain love, comfort, deliverance, strength and hope to this woman in her darkest hour and save her Lord from the enemies tactics. I pray a hedge of protection all around her Lord. Save her, keep her, heal her, comfort and strengthen her in Jesus' name.And I pray for her friends and family, Lord that you would give them strength, wisdom and knowledge in being the right kind of support to help her through this time. Let this woman sing a new song, a song of deliverance, a song of triump and a song of praise. In Jesus matchless name I pray, Amen.

Father,

I stand in agreement with my sisters for the renewal of  the mind and spirit of Deb's friend.  Touch and hold her and let her know that she is not alone in this battle.  We speak against the spirits of depression and suicide and lay claims to your blessings and healing in the mighty name of Jesus. AMEN

Such a request touches me deeply. So few understand that depression is sometimes chemical and not a bad mood. I will link arms and believe with the others here and with you. juanita mae

Amen to Juanita's comments...My oldest sister had this demon for awhile many years ago. I will be praying and be in agreement that God will touch her and carry her through this period...This too shall pass.

Holy Father,
I lift Deb's friend up to You, because she really needs Your massive shoulders to lean on.  Please... hold her gently in Your arms, and help her to understand that she's not alone, and send someone to guide her, and to help her to know that her life has value and meaning.

Please Father, love on her..  so much that she can feel Your Holy prescence, and surround her with peace and understanding.  She is Your child, Father.  I lift your up to You, for emotional healing.

I thank you all, my friends, for your sweet prayers and the outpouring of love that I feel from each of you.  I thank the Good Lord for people like you who are so willing to say a little prayer for someone you don't even know.  God Bless all of you...
