When I say God is Good...I mean...GOD IS GOOD!!! First, let me say this:

I must tell you all, God called us to a fast beginning last Monday! My husband had been praying for God to give him clarification of what we needed to do concerning our finances and family situation, because when I tell you all, we were on the brink of losing it all, we were on the verge!!! I lost my job in Sept 07 and my unemployment ran out in Feb of this yr and to find out that they said they had over-issued me $9600 and that I had to pay that back...Umm...hello, I don't have a job, I just work on my own cleaning houses. When I saw that, I was terrified and I knew we had no way of even making an arrangement to pay that back, we had no money to pay them...lol...My husband was laid off his job in Oct of last yr and just started receiving unemployment in March. Being that we had no income coming in, we were behind on EVERYTHING!!! Our electric bill was past due 4 months, $951.58, our mortgage would have been 3 months behind as of the 26th of this month and our house insurance was up for cancellation as of the 24th of this month.

Well...God spoke the Word to my husband for us to fast. We started the fast last Monday. God said, Daniel fast the first 3 days and for me, no food during the day and not meat, sugar, sodas or any junk food for the rest of the evening, so basically, I was eating fruits, and veggies and water for the week and my hubby, no sugar, sodas(which he can drink a case in 2 days of Coke Classic)no, bread and junk foods. We have been on it for 10 days today and I know that the number 10 represents law and order! Hmmm...Well...God is sure the Master of that. He is our final Judge in all decisions. He will declare what the world says will never happen, to come forth and happen right before their eyes. He will make all policies, rules regulations and laws, be changed and reversed to our advantage!

We went today to try and take care of some of our bills today with the money that we had come up with. First, I had made arrangements with the electric company to pay our electric bill by making installment pymts...then we took the $650 we had to our mortgage company to see about paying one house pymt and our insurance pymt. Well, mind you, our house pymt was behind 3 months and late fees. We got there and spoke to the lady that handles our house insurance and told her we were there to make our pymt...she looked it up in the computer and turned to us and said, "Okay, if ya'll wanna pay it early, that's fine". My husband said, "Yeah, only a couple of days, which it was to be due on April 24th, I guess so then". She looked at the computer again and then turned to us and said, "Umm...It's not due until May 24th bc April has been paid already!" We looked at each other and said at the same time, "HUH?" lol...She said, "April is pd but ya'll wanna go ahead and pay May you can, but it's not due til the 24th." We were shocked. We said, "No we'll just take this and pay on the house and pay that on the 24th of May." So, we went over to the gentleman that handles our house payment to see what we could do concerning our pymts that were past due and with the $600 we had. We gave him what we had, and told him our situation and he said, "Hold on, I'll be back, I'm gonna go talk to the company owner and see what he says before I take this." He came bk in a few minutes and said, "Randy told me take the $600, take out your house pymt of $525.50 and apply the $75. to the rest. Take off the late fees off on all of it and put the rest at the end and you are current and for you guys to pay what you can when you can!" WHAT??? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??? LOLOLOL!!! So, our house pymts isn't due again until the end of May!!! lolol...Then, we get home, still shocked and amazed, and I get two letters in the mail, one from unemployment and one from the electric company. I opened the one from TWC first about my unemp. and it was a letter saying, I owed them $5400 and I could make arrangements to pay that back but that I also received one saying that I was eligible to receive emergency unemployment but that I could receive it. What they will do is pay me $778 every 2 wks but they will apply it towards what I owe for the 4 months which will come out to $6224 which will clear my debt of $5400 and I will still receive a 1-1/2 check for a little over $800. Then, the electric bill...We owed a past due bill of $951.79. Mind you, I had made arrangements to pay it out. I got a bill today about the arrangements and I had to call them for the dates to start paying. Once I got the lady on the phone, she took my acct # and my ss# and all that and looked up my acct. I asked her about my coming up bill and my arrangements, she said, "you owe $129.42 that will be due on May 8th. I asked her to check on the arrangements on the $951. She looked and came bk and said, "you don't have a past due or arrangements to be made." I said, "Yes I do, I have the letter right here in my hand." She put me on hold for about 10 minutes to check my acct. and came bk to tell me she could not find a past due bill, and even said, that one didn't even exist! I was in shock before I finally hung up. My hubby told me to call again just to be sure, so I did and spoke with a different rep, and she could not find a past due bill anywhere under my name, ss# or acct and told me that we just owed our new bill coming up due May 8th....WOW!!! $9600 debt, $951 bill, $1700 house pymts...all cancelled!!! NOW TELL ME GOD AIN'T GOOD?!?

We were even talking about maybe filing bankrupt to try to help us out of this, not until God told us to fast and seek him. Had we filed bankrupt we would not been able to escape this.

God will pull us out if only we allow him too. If we try to do it on our own, we tie His hands behind His back. If we only be obedient He will do his part. Let me tell you all this, by last Wednesday,I was ready to go and by my husband a 44 oz Coke and be done with it bc we were both detoxing and griping with each other, until we remembered, we could handle this, we could do this and that we didn't have no choice but to do it!!!!

Our goal and our mission is to have our household saved. Our children, NOW! We are determined for them to have an encounter with God before the end of this fast. If God can cancell a debt like that, I know without a doubt He can save my children!

If you are struggling in your finances or any area of your life and you need God to intervene on your behalf, quickly, pray and ask Him what it is He wants you to do. It may not be the same as what we did, but He will have an answer for you. We want to draw closer to the Lord! We want a deeper walk with Him by the end of this fast.

I have to share this before I close. Yesterday as I was cleaning a clients house, I was standing in their bedroom bathroom cleaning, I looked at the bathroom door and I saw a King standing there looking at me. I mean, clothed in his kingly attire completely. He did scare me, but just kinda startled me by standing there. He never said a word just stood there for a minute and was gone. I asked the Holyspirit what that meant and didn't hear a word. Then when I went upstairs to clean the den and bathroom, I looked at the stairs and he was standing there at the top of the stairs starring at me again. I began to cry, and I ask the Lord what was he doing there...He said, "He represent royalty in the house"! I assumed it was for the family that lived there, but my husband seems to feel that he was there for me as well. I am receiving that royalty over my family as well, because I do believe that my family is called to royality.

Amen...and Amen!!!
