1 Cor. 3:6-11 - Paul wrote:
6 I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 For we are God's fellow-workers: ye are God's husbandry, God's building.
10 According to the grace of God which was given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I laid a foundation; and another buildeth thereon. But let each man take heed how he buildeth thereon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:6-11 What Paul wrote nearly two-thousand years ago still applies to us today. We have got to get out of the competitive work and sow in the compassionate work for people to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If the Word says faith comes by hearing...then we, the body of Christ, have to be conscience of what we are presenting to a lost world.
For example: What would you say to a blind man walking towards a cliff? He can only react to what he hears. Would you argue about how to present the warning to him with your Bro. or Sis. in Christ? Hopefully not! Then let's study to show ourselves approved and work for the edification of the body of Christ; a Bride that makes herself ready! Examine the situation and allow God to use us and save a lost generation right now! You and I need to sow together according to our given strengths...God will give the increase!
If all we do is done to glorify Jesus (our righteousness), how can we fail? Let God try the reins of your heart and see what wonders He performs through you!
