This scripture verse below (Matt. 3:11) that is posted in today's MyChurch 'Blog About This Scripture" section is as relevant today as it was the day the scribe penned it. You can read more about this wonderful experience in John 3, Acts 2; in fact, there are many scripture references to being filled with the spirit in the Book of Acts. It's a totally awesome experience and if you have not yet experienced it, continue to seek God for it until he fills you to overflowing!!!
It's a wonderful promise to all those who are his and He is ready to give it to those who ask.....
13If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"
3:11 "I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry; he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
