| "TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WANT THEM TO TREAT YOU" |

Let love of the brethren continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body. (Hebrews 13:1-3, NASB)
"Anxiety is the natural result when our hopes are centered in anything short of God and His will for us." (Billy Graham)
It is important that we must keep in mind that our life is not only meant to be used to better ourselves, but should also be used for the betterment of others around us. We should never look upon those who are less fortunate than we are, but rather we are to treat all people as we would want to be treated and love them with the love of the Lord.
Jesus said that even the smallest gesture to someone else in need is the same as if we are doing it to the Lord Himself. So, next time you are doing a good deed, imagine the Lord as the recipient because if we could see with spiritual eyes, we would see the Lord in that moment.
I hope this devotional encourages you to be giving and caring to others because we are all Gods' children and will receive a just reward for the deeds that we did while here on earth.(Matt. 25:34-41)
Prayer: Lord, help me to accept and love others as they are, not what I want them to be. You have given me the example. You loved me just as I am, a sinner who do not deserve to be loved by You. Give me a compassionate heart so that I will always be ready and willing to help those who are in need. In Jesus' name I pray...Amen!
