What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:31-32, NKJV)

We should never allow the negativity of this world to impact our life to a viewpoint that becomes equal to what the world says. God who created us said that in the world we will have tribulations, but then He went on to reaffirm for us to keep our joy because He has overcome the world for us. The Lord Jesus who died on the cross for our sins defeated death, hell, and the grave and now He has become the saving strength of His anointed. We have been made righteous before God the Father not because of what we have done, but because of what the Lord Jesus accomplished on the cross at calvary.

Rest in the Lord's finished work and be encouraged that no matter what circumstances comes to your life, you have the risen Savior ready to lift you up where nothing can come near you to harm you.

See the good in life and not the bad because the good will always fill your heart with a joy and peace that is unspeakable.

Prayer: Lord, in these uncertain times of global change and unrest, cause my roots to grow deep in You and draw Your nourishment, strength, and spirit into my life so that when drought comes, whether economic, emotional, spiritual, political, or any other, I can stay alive and even flourish because You are my source. No matter what comes, keep me rooted and grounded in You. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully in Jesus' name...Amen!
