This past week has been a doozy. I feel a need to share lighter news. God has been with me through this time of craziness and will continue, no doubt.
This morning, my husband...newly walking with Christ...said as he turned off the alarm..."it is going to be a wonderful today today because we are going to rebuke the bad out of it" .....this man usually is lighthearted but this is a new TYPE of proclamation...usually he says something Homer Simpson like..."another day another donut" so I am loving this.
He came to bed the other night saying "I like Luke" and I began sharing the differences between the gospels with him.
Nothing profound here but it is an enormous difference in our home having my husband read the word...whoa and wow all rolled together in a big whoa/wow happy ball of wonderful.
Going to the doctor today after huge swelling water retention issues caused folks alarm when they say my feet when I was at the copier/fax machine yesterday. I have Fred Flintstone looking ankles/feet and if you press in the dent stays for a long time. I feel like a wine skin about to burst so my boss told me to go to the dr. Actually she wanted me to go to the urgent care center then. I have an appointment today at 430 and have been praying. I feel so tired and my skin burns from the swelling. I believe the fatigue and headache are related to this. While this isn't a light note in and of itself, I was concerned to ask for a couple of hours off to go to the doctor and my boss was the one that said YOU GOTTA GO! when she saw my feet and the other employee noticed and they all rallied, so I didn't have to push or feel bad for taking it.
Ok, hubby who has in his heart to rebuke has nodded back off...so gotta get our coffee to roust him. He said he was going to get on here and start writing about me since I write about him. I told him to "have at it :)"
Be blessed today and forgive me for not visiting all the blogs yet. Will be poking at all your sites on Saturday. I have been working an extra hour most days which means 11 hours away each day. |

Man! I missed some major stuff, didn't I??? Oh my gosh, sister, am I ever happy to hear about your hubby!!!! I pray the Lord heals your feet too...and you know how it works: some may profess Christ with their mouths, but not their lives, so they may be "believers" but not know the One they speak of, right? But I usually just "go along" with them b/c let the Lord show them, and just for me to show them the difference, right? I've been in the situation in the workplace, you see. :) One thing is apparent: God has got you there for a far greatter purpose than just to make $$. I mean, I believe He ALWAYS strategically places His people at their jobs for a divine and eternal purpose...IF we allow Him to place us where HE wants, and not where WE want. Love you, sister. Joey, gave me the rx for water pills and said if you are 52 and on your feet all day they will swell. I said I am on my bottom all day in front of a computer. He said you aren't dying take the water pill. He is not my doctor that usually sees me. I don't know. Gotta try it and see. Thank you all for your comments. You are dear to me. ! |

nope, they are still 9.5 wides but not swollen anymore. I made change though to taking it this morning instead of last night when I take my other pills. I made a million trips to the bathroom...not good having normal feet and groggy from no sleep. I ALWAYS LOVED FRED and my favorite childhood doll was Pebbles. I would fix her hair and put the bone in it and be sooooooo happy. Thumbelina too, remember her? Played Brahms Lullebye. |

How are you doing now? Did you get put on water pills? I am sorry I missed this when it first came out. I am not keeping up with my blogging here lately. It is hit or miss. Glad I have a little time tonight to check on everyone. |

doing much better as of yesterday, swollen in the am and doubling the dosage of meds made for a better afternoon. saw different doctor on the 8th and he said to go a whole pill everyday. I was on my feet yesterday at a plant swap and so that could make a difference too. Monday will be the true test back at work. thanks for your prayers |
