Post hysterectomy, my pain did not go away and I asked for prayer. I couldn't imagine trying to find another answer and many sisters on here said I was overanxious and it would likely take a lot more time. I wasn't ruling that out but I was afraid. I asked the Lord many times over those weeks, please take this residual pain away because if it is something else I have no vacation time, sick time, nor emotionally know what do do next. I asked and just noticed the other day when someone asked me how my pain was...it is gone!!! I had the fat feet which resolved with a water pill, but the pain I had is gone and I don't remember when. How nice. It could be as a result of this surgery and time or it could have been overnight and I don't remember. Either way, Praise the Lord. :):) |

God please take away my sister's pain and give her the peace the world knows nothing of....I pray supplications for you. Its a world not often heard...It means to pray that God supply certain particular needs...I pray intercession: God intervenes...Love in C. Pastor Chuck |

I have retained water since my surgery in 05 to be fixed. It has something to do with lack of hormones in our bodies or from the pills we were taking to prevent pregnancy. I pray that I get a job with great benefits so I can get the "H" surgery done within the next few years. Hugs! |

Prayer is one of the greatest gifts we can give or receive. I love praying for others, and watching the results, or at least hearing them. I know God loves us, and will take care of what we need, sometimes it just takes a little more time than we are patient enough to give. My hysterectomy was quickly healed, but my daughter had a c-section that took nearly a year to get over, and even yet, 9 years later, she has some twinges inside when she stretches or stands after sitting for a while. May God bless you with everything you stand in need of...in Jesus' Name. Amen. love ya. |

| I am ever thankful. Penny you were one that said hang on, it takes time. Praying for you Lynne everyday. Jan, I have had nerve pain in my foot from surgery I had in 99 that had NOTHING to do with my foot but they said it was because I was in one position under anesthesia for 5 hours. And the surgery failed. I am not bitter because it was worth a try. Pastor Chuck, the post hyst pain is gone but since you prayed for me, I will stand and believe that God can remove this other pain I had stopped praying about and just got used to. You bless me with every comment. Love you all! |

As a hyster sister, I know of women who said it took what seemed like forever to get over this and others who said it didn't seem long at all. Me myself, it seemed like forever but that was 8 years ago. Now I can look back on it and rejoice. Cancer free 8 years. Wooooohooooo!!!!. I can laugh about it now, but at the time, I hurt to bad to laugh. ON a lighter side, Men fit in here somewhere. After all, it's a Histerectomy isn't it? |

[star!] | Praise God the pain is gone. Medically speaking they say it takes one year for complete healing from surgery, however, we all know that God can heal in an instant. |

| oh how these comments made me smile. I guess He did smile. I am approaching the Lord again. By last night even on water pills, my feet swelled. Today they are HUGE on the water pills. I have a call in to my doctor and a prayer sent heavenward. Something is off kilter, and need wisdom in it. |
