| Please pray for Lindsay! Update 5-20 |

This is Marcella
Tina just called at 12:20 am (est ) and said that Lindsay had passed away around noon today.
scroll down for updates5-6On wednesday my niece 12 year old Lindsay was sent home from school with a slight fever and flu symptoms her fever went away but returned so her mom took her to the e.r where they gave her an antibiotic and realized her little body wasnt reacting the to it the way it should. They decided to life fight her to pittsburgh childrens hospital. She was talking before she left, There the dr's realized her condition was caused by a strep A type infection that somehow got into her bloodstream.She is now in a induced coma and fighting for her life ! Her little kidneys have shut down and her liver is at 10 % function but her heart is strong. She has been placed on a liver transplant list but the doctors have passed on two because she is to weak to undergo the operation! because of her kidneys not working properly so she is retaining the fluid needed to stop dehydration.Last night is the first stable night she has had since being there and the dr even said she peed on her own a little but the tests show she also had a stroke. The dr said he doesnt want to give them false hope and it can go either way! The mom and dad are staying at the hospital afraid to leave and I cant blame them, Please pray! Lindsay has a twin sister, who is at home hoping for the best! Being so far away from home, is hard for them but the doctors advised them it will be at least 2 months before they will be able to return home and even longer if her liver doesnt improve and needs the transplant! Please pray for them. I have been praying Luke 18:27 the things that are impossible with men are possible with GOD ! thank you and god bless tina _____________________________________________________________________________________________ 5-7 updateHi this is Marcella, Tina called at 9:40 (est) and Lindsay's swollen has gone down. She is still on the kidney machine but started urinating, a little bit on her own. She also said, she has her color back and they braided her hair. She looks better, when Tina saw her a few days ago. Lindsay is holding her own, at this time... Please continue to pray for Lindsay....she still remains, in a coma.

This is Marcella Lindsay is worse... She has pneumonia & also yeast in her lungs. They about lost her Thursday. The Dr's. told the parents last week, that they will tell them, when they think, Lindsay's body has had enough. With this information, they will have to decide, when to pull the plug...

Tina has been at the hospital and I talked to her tonight..... she had good news. Praise God! Lindsay was taken off the ECMO machine. ECMO stands for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation. The ECMO was used after the medicine and a ventilator had failed to make Lindsay better. It's an artificial heart /lung. They are slowly reducing the ventilator also. She still remains in a induced coma...

Lord I pray that You will touch Lindsay and grant healing in her body. Grant that she will make a good recovery from the planned operations but Lord we believe that Your touch can restore the areas that are not function right. Lord I ask that You will be with her parents during this stressful time and grant Your peace to be their portion Amen... |

We thank you for all You have done in her life and Lord we thank You for healling her.
We bless Your Holy Name. Praise be to the King. Yes, we come into agreement for little Lindsay's life Oh Lord. Glory to God. Give her parents the where withall to speak life in her situation. We bind spirits of death, spirits of deception and any foul spirit coming against this family. We bind love and patience and sound minds to her parents.

We give you all the glory Father as we sit helpless within our own power, completely unable to do more than just ask YOU for her healing. I am encouraged that You love Lindsay and know her body's workings that you designed to work perfectly. As we grasp to understand why these things happen, hold her close and heal her. Give her medical staff understanding and perfect wisdom in her treatments. What can we do now? Trust that God had a better plan for Lindsay. I don't understand, but He has it all worked out. He knows. Lord, let death not come as a shock to any of us, but let us have an EXPECTATION that it comes quickly, so that we will be prepared. And not only that, but we will live each day to the fullest, in earnest appreciation for the PRECIOUS gift of live given to each and every one of us. In Jesus' precious holy name....
Marcella, perhaps God has brought you into this situation to be a vessel of comfort for Tina and Lindsay's family? This is a difficult situation, to be sure. But don't doubt for a second that God is good or that he has a firm grip on those of us who love him. Offer them the hope in your heart, if they are searching. WOW ! such beautiful prayers and encouragement and i want to thank each and every one of you ,and let you know at what should have been the hardest times this past few weeks i felt at peace ! the doctors aslo said that little lindsay had no pain ''praise god '' and the night before her dad had to make the final decision to pull her from the machines he cried on my shoulder and said he didnt think he could make such a decision ! but he loved her and didnt want to see his baby suffer no more ,this i knew was the love of god !
please continue to pray for their family those prayers are what has carried us through the hardest time i have ever had to endure and i thank you from the bottom of my heart ,cella i love you ,you are such a blessing to me these prayers would not have kept me going had you not been there for me |
