I wrote my very first blog on this day last year...I sat awake, I couldnt sleep for thoughts of life swirling in my head...on that impulse I decided to type out and share my thoughts for the first time.
This year has been...interesting, I have become things I didnt think I would...things have happened that I prayed never would, and life in general just consistently surprises me.
I sit here and am someone so different from that girl who sat there at my desk a year ago, I am stronger...yet weaker in various ways...I miss you mom more....as I change, I become different everyday and when I am by myself I think about if you came back...would you recognize me?
I have had my share of torments..but yet still stand...scars showing through...kiss them to make it better mom? (*smiles*)
I found joy in little places...for when life pushes you in a corner, you find peace in the cracks inside the wall..
Accepting who I am has been a battle...one I am still fighting...
I dreamed about you...so many times...dreams that have no happy ending...ones that stay with me and haunt my thoughts...but the neat thing is, I know those arent real...a happy ending will be ours someday..
Wanting to be that little girl forever...just waiting for you to come home...I am still waiting...but your already home..
I know where you are, I dont know if you can see me...if you watch me in the night...but I look to the sky and imagine your face in the clouds......your beautiful.

Charity, your mom couldn't be prouder! I know because you make me proud ... and I'm a mother too. for when life pushes you in a corner, you find peace in the cracks inside the wall.. I love your heart, as I am sure she does as well. Your reunion will be glorious and you will share each other for eternity. Looking back on this brief time apart you will see it only as a single moment, a mere second in time, a blink of an eye, then you will turn to each other and smile and think not of it ever again, for there is no sorrow nor tears in Heaven, only joy. | I have the same feelings about mom as well, endless nights of nightmares but In the morning it all goes away. like that one verse in that one Bible :) says something about His judgement is for one night but His mercy endures a lifetime. I don't know how that is s'posed to tie into what you are saying but it reminded me of that verse............wow........ |

This is an lovely blog! And the good news is, in answer to your question about heaven being as beautiful as we imagine... 2:9 But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him," This is such incredibly good news for us who believe! |

| This is as beautiful as you are. You have such a beautiful heart. I am also a Mom who will say I am very proud of you, of how you reach out to others with what you say. There are so many who will read your writings and be touched by your love. My son writes poetry. I know from what adults tell me that he has touched their hearts with his writings. You two are very much the same. Don't stop writing. |
