We don't know what will will be, except that we know we'll be like Jesus.  That's a process that has already begun!  Every day as we yield to the Spirit's work in us, we become less and less and he becomes more and more until at last, what you see in us is Christ himself, his character, his beauty shining through!  Everytime we love someone without strings, say a kind word, lend a hand, and even zip our lips and refuse to repeat a juicy bit of gossip, Jesus is breaking out in our lives.  The word Christian was coined to describe the disciples as 'little Christs."  If we are light in the darkness, it is not our own light, but his light.  But it's not reflecting off of us, as though we were little moons.  No, we are little suns (i.e. sons and daughters) and the light that shines from us comes from his life in us.  So let your deeds before men shine like the Son!
