The fruit of the Spirit is LOVE and that will produce fruit ( deeds that meet the needs) from us to those who need it. Words of encouragement, sympathy, caring and giving of ourselves with time, materials, and prayer is the fruit by which Jesus says, "When I was hungry, you gave me food; when I was thirsty, you gave me drink; when I was a stranger, you brought me in; when I was sick, you cared for me; when I was in prison, you came to see me." Love is an action word. To Love is to do. Best example of that is "For God so LOVED.the world that He gave ..", John 3:16. Amen.Thank you Jesus. 6:43 "For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit; 6:44 for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thorns, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. 6:45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil man out of his evil treasure produces evil; for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. |
