He glimpsed into the heart The mirror of the soul And echoing the past Called fear to unfold The resentment made its presence And the story never told Unforgiveness and the greed And the grudges that it holds And the words without a need Had come forward to parade And the hatred, lack of faith The vain promise that had faded Self contentment and confusion lustful thought were there, too And the anguish and the lies And not knowing what to do Bitterness has made its nest In the midst of all the failures Proudly speaking the behavior Of a wounded grieving soul That had grown to be ice cold Guarding sins that still uphold To the surface they were brought Not to shame but to make whole And the tears were no longer Out of fear but of love Come boldly to the throne Unveil your heart and receive grace For the mistakes you’ll ever make I have known them all along Forgive me Lord although unworthy For all things I have done wrong Break me, mold me, shape me, too For my heart only desires Lord, I want to be like you Lord, I just want to be like you.
Hebrews 4:16Let us aproach the thone of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
4:10 As each has received a gift, employ it for one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: |
