Pastor’s update Faith Baptist Church 05.21.09 Chris Chesley is preparing to leave for Texas in a few weeks. He will be serving on staff in a church in the suburbs of Houston Texas. We at Faith hate to see Chris leave but we must yield to God's will for his life. Chris has been a real blessing to me as a pastor and to our congregation in his time here with us. We will miss Chris and his family. Chris will be at Faith for the last time on Sunday May 31 and he will be speaking in the morning services that day. I hope you will make an effort to come and see Chris and family off and to hear him preach one more time. His pulpit ministry has been greatly used of God here and we are glad we can hear him one more time! Aaron Seay received $1609.00 in his love offering for his mission trip to Japan. Because of your generous giving he has reached his goal and is ready to go in July. Please pray for Aaron as he will be preparing for his trip and as he adapts to this new culture. He will be back in August to finish up his last year at Bible college. E ZRA This SUNDAY I will be continuing my sermon series:Ezra. Ezra was a man who loved the Word of God and led the children of Israel back to their home land after the captivity. There was no temple, no altar, no wall and the city of Jerusalem was in a mess. Yet this book tells us how God found His people and led to rebuild the city and to rebuild their lives. No matter how dark your life may feel right now there is hope for you. CELEBRATE GOD MAY 24 Missionary Ron Letts and his wife Vicki will be our guest at Faith Baptist Church this Sunday night at 6 PM. Ron is a missionary to Australia serving with Baptist Bible Missions. Please plan to join us as we hear this precious family share their vision to share the gospel with others in Australia.
