Amen...   I've been waiting for this for a long time.  Perfect timing.

"Jesus said, that if we abide in Him and He in us..."

"As we come closer to God in relationship and in fellowship, He draws closer to us and we can rest assured that our prayers are not only heard but they are answered."

Question:  how does one apply "it rains on both the just and the unjust" or the reflection "why does the unjust man prosper"?  God does care for and take care of both afterall, all creation belongs to Him.

I agree that we, through sin, have moved far afield from Him, and in such cases isn't He more likely to search us out?  Prodigal Son, Good Shepherd kind of stuff?  Afterall, that's why Christ came into the world - to seek out and save the lost.

Speaking as a great sinner, I take comfort in knowing that God searches for me.  I can however make that search hard or easy.  I can choose to be like Adam & Eve and hide or I can choose to be like a lost sheep and bleat away, crying to be found.  Personally, I prefer bleating :)

Joey:  OK will pray for your hubby.  These are tough times and good thing we have the LORD.

Vincent:  It is not that God does not hear the prayers of the unrighteous for He hears all, knows all, and sees all, and is sovereign in the world's affairs. It is a matter of relationship.  The closer and more intimate I am with the Father and the more obedient I am the more inclined He is to move on my behalf.  Sure he answers the prayers of others I have seen it build faith in many of people, but all in all we can have confidence in the fact He is not absent or unconcerned with our situation but rather He is available...a faithful High Priest  that we can draw near to and go boldly before that we might obtain help and mercy in our time of need.
