After following a blog of a sister on MyChurch I just got the thought that not everyone wants the truth. There are people out there that will know they are being mislead by false prophets, preachers, and teachers, but they will continue to follow. Why? Well, my thought is that they want to have the sense that they are living righteously, but they do not really want to do what it takes to be righteous. They want someone to say it's okay to mark up your body, it's okay to party and drink, it's okay to be homosexual, it's okay to curse, it's okay to lie, it's okay to steal and cheat, it's okay to gamble, but as long as you love the Lord and go to church you are saved. Wow! Eventhough most of us know this is untrue many follow it, because it makes being saved, or so-called saved easier for them. Some go to church as a religion, meaning they just go because it's the tradition, but they are not going to get the Word and apply to themselves to live a noble and upright life. This is why some get upset and leave certain churches, because they get mad at the Word due to it's conviction of their sins. Well, it is supposed to convict us, teach us, and heal us right? If our lives are not lining up with the Word of God how are we saved? Yes we may say we believe in Christ, but that's something most of us were taught to say at an early age. If you believe in something you are placing your trust in it. If we truley believe in Christ we will trust that following after Him to be more like Him constantly will gain us eternal life. That would be our focus, but we focus on things of the world. We want to have fun, get tipsy, party, smoke, sleep with those that are not our spouses, and etc. Thing is there is fun in living completely for the Lord, we can get tipsy off of the Holy Ghost, and we can find that man or woman that the Lord tends for us to have, marry him/her, and not worry about fornication. See we can't say we love God, and we believe He sent His Son to save us if we are conforming to the ways of the world. We are to be different as Christians, set apart, a peculiar people. We are to be recognized as different from those still of the world. We cannot serve two Master's, and to be of the world is serving Satan. God will not accept that into His kingdom, and He will not accept the "Inbetweeners" either. It's one or the other and we must choose this day. God is good, and He loves us all. He desires for all to be saved, but due to us allowing the wickedness of this world to overtake us all will not be. Life is way shorter than eternity so why do we live to gain things of the earth instead of the riches in Glory?
Be Blessed,
