That's what happens when you're in the 50+ club Juanita, because your brain cell goes all over the place!  You wake up feeling its one day, when actually its another.  And I don't know if you can understand this, but sometimes it takes you all day to get over it.  And by the time you've gotten over it, its actually the day you thought it was when it wasn't.  LOL!!!

Stevie, I am heading out to church to confirm in myself it truly is the Lord's day.

(truth be told, I am fond of our over 50 club even if we dont' remember who we all are)

Being in the 50 club gives time for people to reflect back.  Or put it another way.  I'm glad I'm 50 and not 40, LOL!!!

Oh, Arlene! I am laughing thinking about garbage having to wait another week for pickup..Thank you! Didn't realize you and Liz were in the 60 group.

My uncle was once speaking to his son and said "Remember when we were little and we did ......?" My cousin just grinned and said "Who do you think you are talking to? "

PTL! I just listened to the powerful song in my last post and was blown away by God's anointing; praising and worshipping our God in tongues.  Then I come here and laugh....God is good. Juanita Mae, I am in the over 50 club now, lol...PB, u make me laugh too with what I have to look forward to should the Lord tarry.

You guys bless me much. God bless you this blessed day. Love in Him. xoxo

That's so awesome, realizing it's a day to RELAX, then relaxing....

My Sunday started the other way. I'm one of the VBS "storytellers", and got up early on Sunday b/c I wasn't sure if our "Bible Bayou" story room was decorated yet -- the old "I though YOU were in charge of that!" -- "No, I thought YOU were!"

So at 7:30 I walked into church and discovered the room WASN'T decorated. (It was supposed to look something like Moses' mountaintop, w/burning bush.) After a quick hunt for decorative supplies at the church (fortunately I found the all-important large roll of brown butcher's paper), I sped off to Wal-Mart for red light bulb, packing tape, and red streamers (to make the fake palm tree look like a burning bush). By 10:30 the room was transformed from classroom to mountaintop!!!! (wrinkled brown paper covering everything, hidden red light shining on fake palm tree, hidden fan blowing red streamers)

I will admit I was pretty stressed over whether the job could be completed or not before VBS started yesterday morning!!

that is the way my life usually runs Mike, but this time I was ahead of my game. Thanks for that illustration though, I can see you doing that. I wouldn't have had an inkling how to make a burning bush. I probably would have taken my fica tree and decorated it
