| Sweet Georgia on my Mind (pre-interview part 1) |

Well I can’t tell you how much of a blessing this trip has been but I am going to try! I have truly been blessed through this trip, and even if this is not the God chosen job for me this trip was worth it. Please bear with me through my long memoirs of my journey. Sorry this is long, but God has shown me so much, I will write two parts to not make it hard on your eyes. First it started when God told me a couple weeks ago to look at my accounts and do some of what He gifted me in, financial analysis. I was ashamed and realized I should be tithing and offering. Well I needed a new suit for this interview as all I have is size 6-8 and size 14s. I am now somewhere in between at a size 8-10 as my church has fattened me up on Sundays. LOL! The best diet in the world is the unemployment diet and I have been proud of my almost youthful figure, if it wasn’t for my beautiful country church, and their generosity I could have fit in my $400 Adolfo suit I bought for $7 never worn at the thrift store on sale.
So God told me I could spend $80 on a new suit. I went to Pebbles and found two for $25, one was kind of a leisure double knit/stretchy gabardine suit but the style I was after. I asked the clerk to put it on hold while I went to Belk’s. At Belk’s I found the perfect suit on sale, style color, high class, $200 suit on sale for $80 and I praised God. I went to the purse section on a hunt for an old neighbor spirit filled friend who is extremely busy taking care of her 90 yr old mom. She was on a lunch break. So I started to look at wallets as mine was stolen from an open purse in January. Found one and started to talk to the young girls as I waited on Ruthie. These girls told me that my items were red tagged and 50% off. So immediately God put it on my heart to search for a cute youthful summer church dress for Rachel, the youngest of our 10-15 member church (I am second), who is a mom of two young boys (5 &2), who’s husband is finishing a six month visit at Teen challenge in Greensboro, NC in July. Rachel told me with tears yesterday when I gave it to her that she had told God and her husband John I wish I had a little money to get a new wardrobe, because I am changing. Well, guess what? I saved $265 on my 3 item shopping trip and spending $80.03, got what I needed a little extra and was able to bless someone else on the trip. The Church MUST take care of all members of the Body of Christ, when one member hurts the entire Body of Christ aches. To God be the GLORY, Praise His Holy name.
It gets better. So I decide to take my own food on this trip, save a little and spent what I budgeted on a manicure to look like a princess as this company was putting me up in the Double Tree. I felt like a princess. I go to this woman’s amazingly fancy salon. She was a refugee from Cambodia and married an American. I remember her salon in my new area because the girls went there for prom and she did mine too. Mind you I do not have fake nails, they grow and I sometimes fire that other manicurist, maid and butler at Becky’s salon. Anyway, she also does brows, which I didn’t know. So I decided to get the bushes above my eyes done too. She and I talk through the entire beautification and she tells me that she saves all her tips to go back to Cambodia and bless the orphanages and the less fortunate every year. I had already paid and tipped her 25% before the manicure, because if you want really good service you show your faith before hand in their abilities. Mind you I haven’t had this done for over a year. Well after she told me what she did with her tips, I pulled out another $5. We laughed about wasting money on the lottery and what we would do with it, me $2 a week while she spends $10 a week. LOL! I would reverse tithe and tell the churches to bless my friends and struggling, while she would buy land in her home country build an orphanage and save the children. My tip then became a 43% tip and she took my information down to tell me about the miracles to come in Cambodia. He Loves the poverty stricken, and sustains them. Before my pampering, I had a little time. So I went to the store along the strip mall and got some cheap $4 sunglasses for my car trip with my last interviewer to have lunch, as my cheap $2 Wal-mart brands were all scratched up. Then I ran to the Harris Teeter to grab a $1 bottle of mouthwash because I didn’t want to tote the gallon size. As I paid and left the grocery, I dropped and picked up my new wallet in front of the customer service. I have been known to leave my keys in the onions and had to retrace steps when my mind is elsewhere. LOL! When I left the store, I found a man’s wallet. So I had to return to the customer service, and hurriedly interrupt the manager and customers. To my surprise a woman who she and her sister was prayed over, by the laying on of hands, and delivered from generational curses of witchcraft was there. She hugged me and told me this job was mine and God would honor my honesty. I told her that I couldn’t even pray properly let alone sleep at night tonight if I had kept or defiled that wallet. God’s Perfect Protection and Mercy is Beautiful.
So after my pampering I started my journey, a few hours late hindered by a train and road construction in the first thirty minutes. You all know once again it was for a reason and/or my protection. As I drove through the minimal miles of NC I praised and prayed over my great state. I prayed to break the chains of poverty, addictions, witchcraft, and double-sided racism. It plagues the south, and particularly the surrounding counties of Ft Bragg. I believe a loosening of these counties is going to come soon and God’s grace will be poured out. Pray for your leaders, your nations, your enemies and your neighbors. God is a God of Miracles.
Ok so I hit SC and I95. I spent an hour and a half talking to CindyLou and an hour or so with Remarkable Terry, as God and the cruise control drove through intermittent downpours, hidden highway patrol officers, and crazy drivers that need a lesson on safe highway driving. I only had one oops and that was while talking to Remarkable as I heard that awful noise on the right of the highway as I tried to pick up the GPS from the floorboard. Its holder doesn’t stick well anymore and I have to wedge it on the dash. Well after her soft rebukes I told her shortly there after that I must get off because I was 30 minutes from my destination of Augusta and the GA border. I must get off and praise and pray because of my safe journey. God Will Protect & Guide you on all your journeys.
Stay tuned have an hour before breakfast, time to re-prepare and pretty up before the interview….part II coming up shortly. |

Stevie B Thanks for reading! After many attacks from Satan on the Internet, or my excitement in my prophetic dream that awoke me LOUDLY at 3:30 this morning, or my excitement about this journey and trip that I forgot to save when I went out to praise and ummm.... have a fag (smoke as you British rednecks say had cold turkey deliverance's but slipped this last week & will be delivered again).....I have lost my stuff on word 3 times and I have decided that it time to come back to this. The attendant at the desk said I could come back to the free computer and internet after my interview. I will ponder and write post interview. This may be 3 parts long. LOL. I am writing like you my friend, inside joke.
