13:17 Obey your leaders and submit to them; for they are keeping watch over your souls, as men who will have to give account. Let them do this joyfully, and not sadly, for that would be of no advantage to you.

Men of God that "need support" - need to humble themselves and become "true" men-of-God - believing all of His Word and trusting Him! 

Then they will stop looking to others to support them and recognize that their support will come from Above - when they are in The Word and Jesus truly lives in them.

Folks; it is the truth that is God's Word that shall make us free - not feelings, feel good messages and fear of natural circumsrtnces (John 8:32).  As it is written in Revelation 14:7:

"Fear God, and give glory to Him; for
the hour of His Judgment [in the churches] is come: ..."

"Him that has an ear to hear, let him hear ..." (Jesus: Revelation 3:22).
