Proverbs 19:11 (kjv)
The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

Proverbs 19:11 (nlt)
People with good sense restrain their anger; they earn esteem by overlooking wrongs.
(read chapter)
When was the last time we overlooked a transgression, or when was the last time we forgave, water under the bridge. When was the last time we overlooked an offense from our spouse, our children, mother father, sister, brother...
Our personal forgiveness from God is tied into how we forgive others. Jesus said But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (Matthew 6:15 read chapter)
A lot of the weight we're carrying around has to do with; not finding forgiveness from God because we've been holding a charge against someone else. Since it's God's nature to forgive (oh don't be shocked, God's nature is forgiveness first), he desires for us to always open the door to forgiveness and reconcilliation. The door of opportunity is opened so wide now, you can email, text, skype, or what ever it takes; smoke signals, egreeting cards etc...
Don't wait, take a moment and tell the Lord that you want to and have forgiven that person you've been holding an offense against, and then contact them letting them know of your intentions, and don't immediately assume everything is ok, let time expose the truth of your actions.
Peace and be blessed.
