It's August already....where is the summer going? It has been a busy one. But a good one.  Lots of family time, which I love.  Watching my teen granddaughter Sierra, go here and there and enjoying her friends, church camp, and watching her play softball. And watching the sparkle in her eye when she gets new "outfits" to take to the beach.....
    Keeping my little sweetness, my 21/2 year old granddaughter, Kadence...watch her "s-vimming" in her pool, taking her on picnics, running thru the sprinkler, singing songs together, blowing bubbles and catching them, along with "light-bugs" which we put in a jar and save.....picking her tomatoes and veggies from the garden...helping me cook...picking flowers to give to her mommy. Reading books and counting...I could go on and on.
   I'm getting ready to start up with the precious ones at church...JAM Kids! And starting back with the ladies in Samaritan Sisters....joyful time. 
   Are you bored this summer??? Naw, not me....just take a look around and see the simple things that God has provided us with.  Oh, no grandkids around? Take advantage of all the little sweeties at church....volunteer for the nursery....or teach the pre-school on a Sunday...   Bible studies....come visit us ladies, on the 3rd Wed. of each month starting in Sept.  ages 19-90 are welcome!  
  Enjoy the rest of your summer...take time out for the simple things too.
Hey, I enjoy the vacations and going here and there too.....don't get me wrong.
But, enjoying what God has put in front of me...that is where it's at!!!!!!!!!!
