The evening services held at the Blackburn Hills congregation went by well and I truly think we praised God in a manner that is pleasing to Him. Four of us took part in the sermon, including myself. I spoke about giving thanks and being grateful to our God, because if there's one thing we don't usually do on a regular basis as Christians, its thank God everyday for giving us another day to live and breath.  I never realized just how ungrateful of a person I was until this past year when I finally began seeing just how much love and care is given to me, and I always forget to be thankful for that care. God deserves our thanks everyday, for every blessing in life, for everyday that we get to live, and especially for Christ, whose sacrifice gave us hope of living with God in eternity. Give thanks to the Lord! 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
