When I first began to learn that God is a good God who wants us to live an abundant life in Christ, my mind was full of religious teachings and doubt and unbelief. I learned I needed to renew my mind with God's Word, and to change my negative words.
I was so blessed to find books by faith teacher Charles Capps. He had a list of faith confessions, which simply means you speak what the Bible says about you. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. The more you hear yourself speak God's Word, the more your faith is strengthened.
I started saying these faith confessions out loud several times a day. I just spoke the sentences, not the scripture references. You can look up the scriptures to see what these faith confessions are based on.
Speak these faith confessions out loud. Your faith grows from hearing your own voice speak what the Bible says about you. When I first began saying them out loud, my mind used to argue and say, "That's not true about you!" But after a while, my faith grew until I knew that what God says in His Word IS true......for me and for all who will believe.
I challenge you to begin speaking these faith confessions daily, and speak them several times a day if possible, until your faith gets strong. It only takes a few minutes, but you are feeding your spirit with God's supernatural faith food....and you will be changed!
Here are some of the Charles Capps faith confessions to start speaking. Don't delay, start today!
Print them out and keep them nearby, or carry a copy with you wherever you go. God's Word will not return void, but it will change your life:
