It’s been awhile since I’ve written a “news” letter about what is going on in my life, and ministry. The Lord has been very good to me over the past six months and I want to briefly update you on how His grace has been poured out in my life.
Marriage
For those of you who do not know my wife’s name is Sarah. She is my sweetheart. In May we celebrated three years of being together and next February we will celebrate three years of marriage. She is my sweetheart, and everyday God reminds me how blessed I am with her at my side. She is the best person I have ever met and Jesus has used her much in my life to help me to be a better man and follower of Christ. She is my best friend and honestly I could not have asked for a better wife even if I tried.
House
Almost two and a half months ago (hard to believe it) my wife and I moved into our first house. Being a first time home owner has its challenges but it has also been a great blessing being able to use it for ministry in reaching out to neighbors, and being hospitable to family and friends.
School
The Lord truly has been very good to me as it relates to my training in school. For those of you who may not know, I am in the process of finishing up my Bachelors in Science at Liberty. I will get my bachelors of science in religion from Liberty this coming Fall, and then have somewhere between thirty to fifty credits to go towards my Masters of Divinity in biblical studies which I will start next Spring. After that I have a number of goals and options I’m praying through. One option is to move to Philadelphia and attend Westminster Theology Seminary for my Masters of Theology, and Ph.D. The second option is to move to Louisville, Kentucky and attend the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary for my Masters of Theology and Ph.D. The final option is to take a position as a Senior Pastor or Teaching Pastor in the next few years after I finish my Masters of Divinity. The Lord has laid a heavy burden and calling upon my life to train up leaders for His Kingdom and glory. It is to this end that I am pursuing my education goals.
Ministry
As many of you may see the ministry is growing very rapidly. I have no update on the new website other than to say it is being worked on. Pray for the webmaster as he builds the new site with blogs, profiles, media library, etc.
Conclusion
I ask for your prayers in the follow areas: my relationship with Jesus, marriage, education and schooling as I continue to grow in my relationship with Jesus, my relationship with my wife, schooling and ministry opportunities. Please pray for me as I study for my sermons on Luke. Pray as I continue to write my book on the atonement and other articles.
I want to say thank you to those who support this ministry with either your time, talent or money. It is people like you who humble me daily to support the work the Lord is doing through this ministry.
May the Lord richly bless you.
In Christ Alone,
