As my daughters got baptized today with the family watching and it being Independence weekend it got me to thinking and I wanted to share it, I hope you enjoy it and maybe it will bless you.
We may bash what is going on in our cities, states and country, Lord knows I do, but we still live in the Greatest Country in the World.
What my daughters did today would not be allowed in other countries, and as Christians we must keep the freedoms that we have and fight with our last bit of being to insure our children and grandchildren have those same freedoms.
The Soldiers who died in the American Revolution, the Civil War,WW1 and WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and all the other battles and those yet to come all fight for freedom, not the advancement of our borders, but for our freedoms!
We don't all agree that is for sure for I will go to my grave defending my beliefs that my beloved country was founded on Judeo- Christian beliefs which can only come from God's Word, The Bible!
Marriage was intended to be between one man and one woman!
Abortion as a form of birth control is murder!
Jesus Christ is the Only Way!
Thank you the the ones who fell on the fields at home and abroad for giving me those freedoms, God Bless You!
My girls baptism was the outward expression of their faith in the one true God, the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob!
If we are to turn America back to the principals that is was founded on, IT MUST START WITH THE BODY OF CHRIST! which is the CHURCH!
Name on the wall does not matter, as long as you are blood bought you are my brother and sister and I will go battle for you!
Baptism does not seem as important to some as it does me, hereis a few verses that cements my beliefs!
16:16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.
3:27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ did put on Christ.
12:13 For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit.
There are several others but I hope you get the point, when we are batized and saved we have total freedom but we don't abuse that freedom.
Salvation for a believer is a guarantee but that does not give you the right to just go through life saying "well I am saved so I can do whatever"
You will be in heaven without any crowns and maybe you will hear the saints say"you smell that?" "you mean the smokey smell?" "yeah they just barely made it!"
Don't arrive at St Peter's desk with your tail on fire!
Get Saved, Get Baptized Get into a Bible Believing Church!
Change the corner where you are and sit back and watch God do the rest.
To my girls Jesus loves you, Mama and Daddy love you, now go forth and make a impact for Jesus on the world!
In closing here is a video that was played at church that sums up Fellowship's and my own personal belifs and pray that God still blessus the U.S.A!
