I guess many of you have heard about the death of former NFL QB Steve McNair. He was always one of my favorite players although I am a die hard Cowboy fan. I must be careful and not accuse him of anything until the facts are clear, but it seems he was seeing this young lady found dead with him. Once again many of us are disappointed in the behavior of people we respect. I feel for his wife and boys as this news is reported.

I am not sure if you also heard of the indiscretions of SC Governor Mark Sanford. But I heard a devotional moment the other day on Christian radio that hit home. The speaker talked about how Sanford's sins have been made public by the media for all the world to see. What would happen if yours and mine were? We all fall short and mess up from time to time and I, for one, am glad the world does not know about it. But my God does and he most likely says to himself, disappointed again. I pray daily for his grace and mercy in my life! It suits my case.
