On a hot day in Texas I think about the non believers.  The ones who know of Christ but do not know Christ.  On the most miserable days of any year when you endure temperatures of 100+ and say you can't endure it one more summer.  Why chance Hell?  There is no reprive there.  Winter does not come.  If you can't stand a hot summer day why chance Hell?

I know and love someone who is denying Jesus Christ.  For the sake of nothing other than fear of not being in control, #1, the only person that matters - they deny because they think acknowloging Jesus means denying their freedom to live this "in control" life.  What they don't know or don't see, is that acknowloging Jesus Christ brings the ultimate freedom.  There is a lot of work to be done in religion.  That's why I'm glad to say I'm not religious, I'm a Christian.  For me the work is DONE. I accepted the free gift of salvation and it came with a freedom so precious and unfathomable until you know Jesus.  I want him to know you don't give up your life to become a Christian.  You gain your life to become a Christian.  I pray he knows that someday.
