Ever since Charles Darwin wrote the notorious "Origin of the Species" the generic term "evolution" was coined as a way to make vague and empty attemps to explain the origins and development of life on earth. The theory of evolution has never been proven without a shadow of a doubt yet when I was a child all of the history books in school taught that we evolved from lower forms of life. If we evolved from other animals then why are those animals still here? We must also assume that we would contine to evolve into some other type of ctreature. Why doesn't our DNA contain the remnants of the DNA of the species we supposedly evolved from? Where is the forensic evidence? Man has developed technologies and all manner of instruments to measure the age of our planet only to attempt to poke holes in what God says the origin of life is. If man can discredit the word of God then man can explain God away so that they can live out their twisted and perverted lifestyles without restraint. Yet we call ourselves civilized.

What price do we pay to become civilized? We have marred the face of the earth with shimmering ribbons of tar and concrete to drive shiny coffins upon yet we have this incessant need to build more roads that lead to wherever we feel a need to go. We erect shimmering towers of concrete and glass that reach up into heaven just so that we can make a name for ourselves. Nimrod had the same idea yet we claim to have become more civilized since then. We've polluted the waters and we have poisoned the atmosphere and we have run many animal species into extinction. We destroy entire ecosystems to acquire prime real estate all for the sake of the almighty dollar and we kill for the sake of killing yet we call ourselves civlized. All of our technocrap and gadgets have made us reliant on them to the extent that we are devolving. Some of us have become couch potatos while others have become predators. We are no better than brute beasts yet we are the civilized ones.
