You (my soul) as a potential right-reason correct-seeing Christian have been baptized in water with all it's mystery. Christianity for you is not a theoretical speculative spirituality. Although you do not deny being changed by baptism in water with all of it's mystery, you do not have it exactly parallel to being born again and becoming a new creation in Christ. The reason for that is because you felt the power of God while hearing a preacher, responded to the message as from Jesus Himself, and experienced the revealing of Jesus to you by the Holy Spirit - in other words, subjectively, Jesus introduced Himself to you; all before you had the privilege of being baptized into water at the hands of a capable spiritual pastor.
