Here is another star. If only we had the courage to reveal how much we have been forgiven, God would be greatly glorified. "when you humble yourselves I will heal your land" is God's promise to the ancients. Paul brought himself to do it as brother Steve points out. Our contemporaries,at least in my tradition, aren't so comfortable about confessing their past sins so that the progress that God's grace has made on their pilgrimage can be clearly seen and desired by all, to the glory of His Name. We might be far less critical of what people 'are' if we knew what they were prior to responding to God's grace. We all remain works in progress mauled by the perception of the selfrighteous - often far from the reality in God's eyes. Eph 1.
