| Belonging To The Flock |

Jesus often referred to the group of believers as a flock. There are many people today I meet that live lonely lives. What joy God would bring into their lives if they had the desire to be a part of the "Flock." Of course flocks need a shepherd and we have the best in Jesus. When you are in a situation and do not know our next move you can as a member of the flock go to the one who knows your next move. I play Chess worldwide on Chessmaster Live on Xbox. I realize how important it is to make the right move at the right time. The Good Shepherd not only wants to show us our next move he wants to give us the treasures of heaven over that which the world can give. This treasure in part is to posess the faith that we can go to Jesus any time any way. Even Jesus retreated to Gethsemane to seek the will of his Father for His life. Seeking the answers in the wrong places or with the wrong people can lead to horrible consequences. If some of you are in "I don't know what to do" situation I urge you to try God. Amen Pastor Chuck. Even young kids seek a flock to avoid loneliness and to fulfil a need for belonging. How sad that in their distress their road leads to wrong shepherds - to gangs that are likewise formed of weary, lost souls being misled by the voice of the infamous spirit - the enemy of our Lord.
Oh Lord! May they seek and find you! May they pour out tearful outcries and be heard by you! Lord! Even now! |

| ...And Lord! Hear the outcries / and inner tears of those that are yours today.. as we pray for sons and daughters, for the youth - those we know and those we've never met! Hear our cry, and bring them to yourself, to your wonderful salvation, to your grace.. your mercy... your abounding love! |

Yes, Pastor Chuck, we all need someone we can turn to when we are going through trials and tears. Sadly, many turn the wrong way, the world. Just like you said before, "LOOKING FOR LOVE IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES".
The world is full of lonely, desperate people just waiting for a kind word, a loving touch or just a simple smile. We are to be Gods hands and feet, He leads the way, and we follow. Am I following him today? |
