Yes indeedy my friend...All that live Godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, it comes with the territory...and the best is yet to come, (smile)  But Greater is He that is IN us than he that is in the world ;o)

For God i live and for God i die, that is all there is for me, since i have to die anyway why not go out with a Blessing instead of a curse.

In the end, the cost of not living for Jesus will be far greater.

Life giving faith is hope in the certain eternal outcome of truth. Jesus’ resurrection, is the manifest truth of the Father’s faithfulness to HIS promises. Jesus’ faithfulness to the Father’s will is the manifest truth that seals the promises and secures the eternal outcome.

1.What did Jesus say - quite specifically – was the Father’s will for him?

2.Where do we read this in the Bible?

3.What did Paul say about his life as an apostle of Christ?

4.Where do we read this in the Bible?

5.What did Paul believe was the Father’s will for him?

6.Where and how did Paul convincingly demonstrate his belief in the Bible?

7.Is my faith life giving, despite temporal burdens lingering at times?

8.Given Paul’s understanding of life as an apostle, should a believer be surprised that

   temporal burdens linger?

9.Did Paul ever change course in his apostolate because of a particular temporal

  burden at any given time?

10.Where do we read about this in the Bible?

11.Why did he change direction or emphasis?

12.Why might a contemporary believer discern a change direction or emphasis under

the influence of the Holy Spirit – as Paul certainly was?

Brother Steve, Must Jesus bear the cross alone and all the world go free? No there's a cross for everyone, and there's a cross for me. Jesus said, that you would be hated by all men for my name sake. Though none go with me, yet I will follow, I'll go with him all the way.

True, but we must make sure that they hate us because of Christ in us, not our fleshly pride getting in their face, hollering and yelling about their sin. Christ never hit people over the head with scripture. He never spouted scripture to prove they were sinners. He just healed them, and told them to go and sin no more lest a worse thing happen to them

If its about what we can do, Then Jesus never needed to die in the first place. But no one can live it. We are not even asked to. Paul didnt. He was an abider, just as Jesus was an abider. Paul came to the place where he stated that it was no longer him living, but Christ living through him. Jesus stated in the Gospels that it was the Father giving him words and the Father doing the miracles through him. He could have done those things, but his human nature side needed to be the obiedient.

Our suffering here is nothing. Do some people verbally abuse you for your faith? Boo hoo. Many people die and have died just because of their belief in Christ. Many have been tortured. Perspective is everything.
