Where is eternal life?  It is in God's Son.  In Christ.

The phrase in Christ is used through out the New Testament.  Are you in Christ, in God's Son?   The question is not have you ever been in Christ.  But are you in His Son right now? 

Jesus said that we must remain in Him.  Being in Christ is positional.  We must not wander away.  We must not return to the world.  We need to stay in Christ, abiding in the vine.

God's gift is in His Son.  To be in Christ is to be in the most blessed condition a human being can be in.  Being in Christ doesn't fix everything it our life -- it doesn't eliminate trials and temptations.  But those trials and temptations become minor things, like a gnat, compared with the joy, love, and power of being in Christ.

Glory to God!  Abide at His side.  Confide in Him.  Let Him be your guide.  Walk and live in His stride.  Deside to obey Him every moment.  Put away your pride.  Persist even when you are tried.
