I thank God for this site. We, as Christians, can learn so much on here.
One thing I would advise is this: We, including me, need to be mindful of each person's developmental stageI got saved when I was like 12 and then again at 14. I was on fire for God and then I stopped listening to God. However, I kept doing Godly acts like reading the Word in private, hanging with Christians, and writing a novel that includes Christian themes. I wasn’t always fully sold out to God, and I still get off track once in a while. People who know me realized my passion for Jesus. I have no shame in witnessing for Him…even though I am far from perfect.Saints, we need to leave God’s servants alone. We are all at different stages. Therefore, don’t kick a person in the grave and pour dirt on him/her.You might be in high school when it comes to your walk with Christ. Someone else might be in elementary. This doesn’t mean that the younger saint isn’t more gifted than you in certain areas. We need to just leave each other alone. Encourage one another (and correct in a wise manner because you might push someone into hell because of your ignorance). Just because a person doesn’t look RELIGIOUS to YOU doesn’t mean God isn’t working with that person. Come on…let’s mind our own business. Let a person question God if that’s where they are at. Your job may just be to listen and pray. We are in the same family. I am talking about me first. I don’t mess around with many of the obvious unsaved because I am staying focused. If they need help, I’ll help. Otherwise, I am focused.
However, I am talking about our family. Know your developmental stage and remember we are all different. I am one of the firecrackers in the family. You might be the A student of God…let’s know our place. You could be getting that A. Then you can fall behind and the special needs saint may pass you. Be careful. Let’s know our stage of maturity in God. Just because one Christian doesn’t read the Word for 20 hours a day like you do doesn’t mean that person doesn’t love God. Keep your eyes on your God and on your walk. Many probably thought I was a mess when I left church at age 17, but look at me today…pressing on in the Lord. People don’t always show you what’s really going on in their heart. No one knew I was up in the Word while acting ridiculous in public. I was an outstanding student (because of God), but I had so many personality issues. I belong to God. He loves me. PRAISE THE LORD. Jesus! Why would a God waste time on me…I love Him. Father, help me to be even more sold out for you.

[star!] | Destiny, i love it you are absolutely correct but what i love about The Spirit of God, is when your following after the Spirit (staying focused) you will only encounter the people you are suppose to encounter and the Spirit of God will give you age appropriate words to speak be it a physical age or a spiritual age.
Be Blessed |

[star!] | God's really been opening my eyes to these things lately. That Grace book really helped me in that regard, of why some believers keep falling, me included---not b/c we don't want to serve God but b/c we haven't realized who we already are in Christ, and learned to let Jesus live through us. So yeah, mercy always triumphs over judgment, don't it, sis? I'm learning and I know I'm guilty of acting like a jerk face and like I'm all so much smarter than some, and I guess I'm publicly saying sorry if I made anyone feel that way. |

Hello my friend Destiny,
Welcome back from your cruise my friend.
You got a great Amen corner going on here my sister, so I came to check it out and went WOW! Now where did that come from?
I agree with Sheree's wise response, and may I add the Word is still the divider and faith builder as long as Jesus Christ is lifted up, He will draw all men/women unto Himself and everyone from there will be in good hands (smile). Praise His Holy name. Good blog! |
