I remember the movie with Jack Nicholson when he was finely attired in his military regalia says, "You can't handle the truth!" And according to Jesus the world cannot handle it either. God Spirit is that of truth which means that there is no room for pretense or want a be's. The world cannot receive not because it lacks the ability but more so the willingness to accept and let the Truth of God's word truely change people's lives. Many want God but on their own terms: Not God's. But the Good News is for the Disciples and all true believers it is possible to know God. He dwells with us in the Spirit of Christ and is inside us. That means that no one can take Him from us. Ain't that Great. God has chosen to make his Tent with us...To dwell with us. So whatever you may be facing today and not matter how hard it may be...You are not and willl never be alone. God will share both our joy and pain and by His stripes we are healed. I say this not from just a preachy sense but from my own struggles and pain. God has always been there and his Grace is more than sufficient. I pray that this Good News comfort all of you my precious friends whom I love and adore in Christ! Pastor Chuck
14:17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you, and will be in you.
Great thought Pastor Chuck! Jesus told His disciples that He would never leave them... PTL! How faithful our God is and He will abide until the end... May I truly handle the truth as that Is what I desire from God and in my life... Amen! Thanks Pastor ChucK! Blessings In Him... :o) Herman
Excuse me for saying so, but God help us if we ever get back to normal. 65 is just the foundation. What happens after that - is the building upon. So if anything's normal, it won't be built. To put it in a nutshell. First there's natural (normal), then there's super-natural (which is not normal). So when it becomes super-natural, its out of the range and the possibility of normal, and that's when things start to happen. Get my drift?
