Hey Den, I listened to Hal Lindsey tonight which I don’t do much but because of our conversation earlier I decided to and he was talking on much the same we were discussing based on Matt 24. I can’t go into all the details but I sure wish you could have heard it. Anyway, he points out that Matthew is describing a time of great delusion (our world economic crisis/lost values possibly) v4 -8 (which the birth pains indicate that the signs become more and more frequent and we are seeing now as never before in history) and then v37 where it compares the time like in the days of Noah which means that people will be going about their business (business as usual) and will not notice the prophetic signs the same as in Noah’s day until God shut the door and the rains came. And much like the flood, Jesus will come quickly for His people/church (it will be sudden and people will be unawares except for those watching as in the parable of the fig tree v32). V36 tells us that no one knows the hour that is why you know it will be sudden and the world will not be watching but when Christ returns to the earth all will see Him coming in the clouds; this is to take place at the end of the 7 years, tribulation period (Revelation/Daniel) Anyway this helps to provide a picture of Jesus returning for his bride (John 14:2,3) and I hope I haven’t confused you more. It’s on the horizon, take heed to the warning in v43. Watch The verse about the Holy Spirit being taken away is 2Thess 2:7 It is the work of the Holy Spirit that restrains evil. That is why in the tribulation there will be such evil as never has been known because the Holy Spirit will not be present to restrain the evil (think about it, terrible evil) Again, if you have the Holy Spirit living in you, and all God’s children do, then you can not be here (the church) except for those sealed by God for such a time as this. | The late great planet earth, what a powerful title to one of Hal Lindsey's books. Also Satan is alive and well on planet earth.Hal has really touched on some serious Bible prophecies. |

| Yes, exactly! But ya know, my mom was fascinated with end time prophesy and that is what ultimately got her saved? And me too. And my brother-in-law is also fascinated with it, so I'm just praying....God will use anything! |

| Lara, that's some really good testimony there. You are blessed. I have a fairly large family and only a handful are actually followers of Christ. I am learning to look for those opportune time more often. |
