| "...he (God) commands all men everywhere to repent,..." |

I'm sure that all of us would say that we 'repented' when we first came to Christ. After all, it was a requirement wasn't it? We had to repent before we asked forgiveness for our sins. When we did so, it paid off because we found that God forgave us of the most aweful stuff we ever thought or did. So why now do a lot of us fell like we are under some type of condemnation for things we have committed since being saved? Maybe we have not continued to repent. Godly sorrow causes us to repent (helps us to say, 'I'm sorry' and turn from sin) and when we repent, it activates God's forgiveness. So there shouldn't be a day where we don't experience that amazing forgiveness, but let's continue to utilize this opportunity called repentance. And let's not be afraid to say, "I'm sorry." 17:30 The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all men everywhere to repent, |
