 Amen to this. As our our guest Pastor said on Sunday it can't be SUPERFICIAL REPENTANCE either,he is a genuine ,true god who deserves nothing less than genuine ,true repentance.

I must be in a mood...I had to bite on this one. 

What constitutes "..genuine, true, repentence"?

I guess what struck me about this is that it can't happen in a vaccuum.  Repentence, by itself, can't be genuine.  It has to be coupled with a genuine desire to restore the relationship with God.....a humble, contrite heart bent on "I give up.  I submit to you.  I want you and you alone at the center of my life."

That's when repentence becomes genuine.
