| It Only Gets Better From Here! |

2:9 But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him," For the Christian this world is the most Hell we will ever experience! From here it only gets better! Imagine what the verse really means? If you really love God you can't even comprehend what He has in store for you! Obviously, Heaven comes to mind when we think of what God will do for us. Imagine living in a place of perfect peace and transquility. Think of living in a place that has no sorrow, no sickness, no death - how wonderful would that be? To be in the presence of God, to see your Savior face to face, to see your loved ones that have gone on before you that is something to look forward to! The Apostle Paul wrote: "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not even worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us!" Heaven! What a hope! What a promise! What comfort to the struggles of this world! Heaven is going to be beyond our wildest imagination for sure, but have you ever applied this verse to your life in the here and now? God has something prepared for you! Something wonderful! Something so great it will blow your mind! What is it? I don't know but it's gotta be good! For He works all things together for the good to them that love God. (Roms 8:28). For He said, "I know the plans that I have for you, plans for good and not for evil to give you a future and a hope!" Think of that! You have a future! Think about that you have a hope you have something to look forward to! What's the key? The key to receive a life that will blow your mind is to love God! Not just love Him half-heartedly but to love Him will all that you are (Heart, soul, mind and strength). He promises to give you a life so great and so awesome that it will exceed your greatest expectations. Remember, Jesus came that you might have life and have it more abundantly! So, take heart even though you may be going through some tough times remember it's only gonna get better from here! Because He who promised is faithful! He is not a man that He should lie! So rest in the fact that He has a wonderful life in store for you if you love Him with all of your heart! |

And that's the hope I have...Looking forward to New Jerusalem (heaven) coming down to this earth to live with Jesus forever.....
21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

My neighbor was over having coffee yesterday, and we were talking about what heaven would be like, and she was asking me questions, that I could only tell her I had my assumptions, b/c the Bible only says so much about heaven...and like that verse that we can't even begin to imagine what God's got in store for us! Exciting thought. |

Oh what a wonderful wonderful day a day I will never forget
when in sin's darkness I stayed Jesus my savior I met
O what a tender compassionate friend
He met the needs of my heart
Shadows dispelling of joy I am telling He made all my darkness depart!
That's from memory...Hadn't gone to a church that has sung the hymns in 10 years. LOL |

| I think the hymns are gone honey. I like the new songs I really do...but there was so much doctrine in the hymns they taught as much as anything. But for me I would rather sing to God than about God. I wrote a blog a while back about missing the hymns. I do miss them, but kind of in a nostaglic kind of way. They are fun and bring back wonderful memories of growing up. |
