| Happiness vs. holiness |
|

There are many Christians wallowing knee-deep in sin who excuse their sin by saying, “But God wants me to be happy.” Then they splash away in their muck and mire of their disobedience, either ignorant or ignoring the warning of a loving God who wants to clean them up and save them from suffocating in their own filth. Yes, God wants you to be happy. But first and foremost, God wants you to be holy. And true happiness comes through holiness. 12:14 Strive for peace with all men, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. |
