2:46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they partook of food with glad and generous hearts,
I believe breaking bread together means they first worshipped their risen Master, Jesus Christ, by thanking Him for their daily bread which is manna from above which is The Written Word, which will never go stale. This Word will sustain our entire body, mind, soul and spirit and it will keep us pure and healthy, if we eat and apply it to our lives daily. They also thanked and honored the Shepherd of their souls, their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ whose name means the Written Word, Lord above ALL, Alpha and Omega, Emanuel meaning G-d is with us, King above every King, Lord of Host who serves His children daily with manna from above. The only one who was is, and will be now and forevermore, the one who said He will never leave or forsake His children. They were probably besides themselves with adoration when they thought that this Jesus Christ walked among them and they probably spoke of all the miracles they had seen.
What a glorious time they must have had. What if today's Christians to the same thing? Would we see miracles like they did? Just a thought that I would like to see put into action.
Oh! and they also ate with their hands, dipping in the same bowl, and no one had any lack, because they all shared what they had with each other. I wonder if the women and the men worshipped together and shared the duties? Just another thought I would like to see put into action in today''s Church.
Have a Holy Spirit filled day my friends
