Personal Freedom is the basis of American Government

13:1 sounds like the statement of the universality of the Church of God, that there is no higher authority than that given by God. Who then, is ordained by God to govern in America?

13:1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.

Thanks Debbie. It is important for us to remember that fact. Authority doesn't emanate from a person, but from the rule of law.
