You are the Remarkable One.  What a lesson and my favorite scripture too.  I see my story in the cotton field and you have inspired me to write the story.  On my business cards is Psalm 139:14 and my business is called "Sew Perfect" and I've always felt the two just went together and now I see why, my cotton field is just like your oyster shell and if you don't mind I would like to model my testimony after this lesson.  I did not see the scripture and the name of my business at the cotton field until I read this.  Yes you are the Remarkable One and I'm glad God chose you for such a time as this.  You keep blessing us, God is pleased.  Bless you and your family, I loved when you called them your "Tribe" in you last blog.  Glad you had a wonderful vacation, I an so looking forward to my cruise.

What a beautiful post; I never thought of our afflictions as creating pearls.

My oldest brother was telling me about this years ago...he said the substance the oyster secrets to cover the irritant is somewhat like our tears. :)  It made me think of the Pearl gates of Heaven...and wonder if all of our tears are applied to the entrance into Glory. :)

This i a great teaching Destiny. I've always loved pearls and I'm fascinated by how hte irritation of the pearl gives way to a beautiful jewel. Your blog reminds me of one done some time ago by Jan Abney on this site about refiner's fire in relation to precious metals. Great job and I love those pearl earrings. Are they yours?

Wow, loved this illistration, it is good to stretch and grow. And God always used it for his glory! What a great way to look at these irritating circumstances in our lives!

I love this illistration also. I know that I am an irritating piece of sand and that the Lord covers me with Himself making me beautiful (in Him)!  Halleluiah!
