| The Face of Worship? |

When we gather as the Church body on Sunday I've often pondered the question "Who is honestly worshiping and who is just going through the motions". The worship team and I have a unique perspective from our vantage point, we can watch the physical side of worship as we lead. We observe raised hands or crossed arms, smiling faces or inanimate stares, exuberant singing or barely noticeable lip movement. I've even seen a person go from raptured glory while singing one song, to somber weeping when reminded of a trial or tribulation they are currently going through on the next. Although as humans we think we can figure it all out by the external, there is always something more happening inside a person than one knows. This is not hard to realize if you will only look at the internal workings of your own mind. So, the next time you question a persons "worship" remember only God sees the heart and only He can inspire with truth to provoke true worship and what does true worship look like? I'll be watching for it Sunday, so please be honest as you worship.
4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him. 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."
