For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. (2 Corinthians 12:8-10, KJV)

It is easy for us to be down or discouraged when we focus only on the problems we are going through, but if we take a moment and look at the trials of others, we will quickly find that we are the lucky ones and have much to be thankful for. It is only when we look at those less fortunate than we are that we see God's blessings and hand of mercy that has kept us safe and secure in Him.

Be encouraged to be thankful for all that you have been given and see that God is with you and all will be well. Trust Him with your life just as you have with your soul and know that He will never leave you nor forsake you.

You are highly favored by God. Be thankful for every gift and blessing that you possesss, and know that your life is much easier than 90% of people on this planet earth.

Prayer: Lord, when I look at others' circumstances, it is easy to forget that in most cases there is more to their situation than I can see. You see from a greater perspective. Therefore, help me keep my focus on You and trust that You have everything under control. I want to rely upon You in everything that concerns my life, even in my concern for others. In Jesus' name I pray...Amen!
