| HELP!!!!!!!!! |
|
| |
To all those who are a part of the body of Christ, I have a question that i just can't seem to get an answer to.
My question is why would any Pastor stand in a pulpit and proclaim that you can't go anywhere without me, you will never be anything without me, you will never prosper without me, your business will never be anything without my name on it, and you have to live my lifestyle in order to get blessed by God, you can't operate in ministry unless you have money or committing fornication and/or adultery?
Don't get me wrong I know what Thus saith the Lord, but i can't seem to wrap my mind around this worldly theology that says that it is o-kay to sin and lead people into sin and use the Word of God to do so and slap God in the face by saying i have been doing this for so many years and you have to follow my lifestyle to be blessed, I clearly see the enemy and how he has strategically manipulated his way into this body of believers, so much so that young women are believing that increase means that they have to get married or just get some "sponsors" to pay thier bills, or bear fruit and multiply means that they have 4 or 5 children out of wedlock and live on wel-fare, and Divine Healing means that you take 2 aleve for pain, and Zoloft cures depression, and my personal favorite, you can't believe God for anything higher than i believe, your faith can't be greater than mine, you can't operate on a higher level than me, or you can't live in the elevated level that God taught you how to live on.
And this idea of you can't repeat what the Pastor is doing to you, as if he/she has a get out of jail free card and he/she can do whatever he/she wants and it's o-kay, what translation is that in? Tht is the reason why so many young boys and girls was being molested in the catholic church because somebody said you can't tell, that is the reason we have so many messed up young men and women now.
Can somebody please help me understand why anyone would bring that type of judgement on themselves, or please correct me where i am wrong. |

[star!] | Sheree,
You are preaching the same message I am!! You're just doing it from a social perspective and I doing it from a political one. Same question you're asking is the same one I am: Why are trying to build THEIR kingdom insted of THE Kingdom? The short answer is Church Leadership is self focused and not God focused. If Proverbs 29:2 is valid, how come Pastors dont ask God to send us godly people we can vote for, so that righteous laws will be implemented? If we are to lead by example, how come we tell those younger than ourselves (in age and in the Lord) "Do as I SAY, not as I do"
Bottom Line: Once Church Leadership starts walking in integrity - both socially and politically, then Sheree, your "Help" has arrived. |

[star!] | Well you go on and preach it my sista....Tell it like it is...Sounds like something I would say (Smile)....I've been saying it for years, and still proclaiming it...Play time is over...All this nonsense must come to a screeching halt..My pastor said...My pastor said....I don't want to hear what your pastor said...I want to hear what *Thus saith THE LORD*....Continue to be bold my friend.....Continue to be strong...Now here's a little message for all those hypocritical pastors....
23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. 23:2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD. 23:3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 23:4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

[star!] | Sad, sis, sad. Don't have much to say, really. I admit I joke w/ people when i take an ibuprofen, for a headache saying "here's my faith in pill form". But really, I lack the faith and patience to wait on God for that particular thing. I'm a work in progress. And if having $$ measures how spiritual we are, then I'm in deep doggy do! lol |

Lara at least there is evidence of Christ in your life and some some places you just don't fit anymore, and you can be honest about your level of faith and with your permission i will ask to pray for god to strech your faith to the level that you should be operating on, because like everything else in Christ it is going to cost you your life.
Gerald, the reason they don't ask is because they don't want to live the life God called them to and the example that Christ Jesus left. |

Sheree,
That is quite true. The one thing that Jesus is, He is authentic something our pastors forgot how to be. |

Oh, and MarJay, the scripture in Jeremiah chapter 23, does not fit with the New Testament that Jesus Christ is now the ONLY Shepherd. His sheep WILL hear His voice and follow only HIM and another man they WILL NOT follow. Now is'nt that a sweet thing to hear, Smile.
10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. 10:29 My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand. 10:30 I and [my] Father are one. Alleluia!!!!!! Thank you Jesus Christ for the covenant You made with all who are filled with Your Holy Spirit. Amen |

| Not only am I fighting for the Word of God, but also for REFORMATION (a systematic change) not revival in our country. All I'm the pastors to do is lead us or move out the way. It doesnt matter to me which one they do either. |

| Sheree, Jesus knew the Word because He was thw Word. I really think a lot of people who are in leadership positions, pastors, elders, deacons, whatever, should get a grip on the 34th chapter of Ezekiel before they step off into ministry. It would probably scare some off. God will hold those in leadership positions responsible for their actions, their lives, and their words. |

| Destiny I am with you, that is why i can't understand if we are reading the same Word and it is the same Holy Spirit, the same God, the same Jesus, but i guess that is the problem, the God of the universe that we worship and serve is not thier God, it is not thier Jesus and it the Holy Spirit is definantly not present in thier lives. |

I do know one thing for SURE, "play time" has been over for some who are already dead. As it is appointed unto men (mankind), once to die and after this the judgement. Hebrews 9/27-28. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Judgement day begins then. There will not be "a pergatory" folks. There is no second chance, because when you die you cannot make decisions.
When Jesus Christ died, the bodies of those in the ground came out of the graves and went into the City, proving and fullfilling prophecies. Matthew 27/50-53 and John 5/24-31.
Before Jesus Christ left this planet, He called His disciples together and gave them specific instructions to be carried out after He left. Now, please tell me what happened between then and now? greed and selfishness took presidence over self -less -ness. Mankind figured out a way to exhalt himself and get money from unsuspecting, vulnerable people. So far, G-d has allowed it because He has already spoken. |

Which takes us back to what Jeremiah so eloquently spoke after God got tired of repeating Himself through His Prophets
23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. Although it is old covenant God's Word remains the same Full Gospel means we take the Whole Word of God and not just the part we've figured out how to twist and live by, "RELIGION" the sad part is that when you look at how many died for the cause of Christ and even Christ himself died that we might have the right to the tree of life and all He gets in return from some is sagging pants hanging off the butt, breast bubbling up out of pieces of material, butts hanging out from under skirts, was their death in vain, their are a remnant out thier many of us are on MC, how many will lose thier life following man and how many men not gender but man kind will have to answer for those souls. Just Give Me Jesus |

[star!] | We as a society and church family, in many cases , get caught up in the charisma of a person (Pastor/Evangelist) and not in the Word of God...
We want the chills and frills of a church and not the PURE Word of God...
Great questions and no doubt many anwsers will come over time...
But as for me and my house we WILL serve the Lord!
6:15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time [that] I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
23:14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah. 23:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land. 23:16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, [and] not out of the mouth of the LORD.
23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. 23:23 [Am] I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
Blessings In Him... :o) Herman |
