As I look into your eyes
Listening to your words
Smiling in your face
Wondering if we are in the right place.

As I listen to your words
As they roll of your lips
Piercing my ears as I listen
Praying what you're saying isn't

As we talk throughout the night
Learning about each other
Making promises, making plans
Holding each others hand.

Putting Christ in the center
Quoting Scriptures in the air
What a comfort we are there
Is it too soon to share our hearts.

He is our Shepherd, He will guide
Letting go, taking it in stride
No need to slow it down, it's OK
Love is the Key, God is having His way.
